Cycle to the herring town of Enkhuizen

This route leads you along the beautiful IJsselmeer and through the beautiful landscape of the area, including Enkhuizen. The route starts in Andijk at the corner of Dijkweg Middenweg at junction 15. Enjoy cycling with the wind in your face and endless views over the IJsselmeer towards Enkhuizen, which is known as Herring City because of its past in herring fishing. Enjoy an ice cream by Vivaldi at the bottom of the Dom Tower, while enjoying the spectacle of the harbor.
