City walk Enkhuizen

You start at the Compagnieshaven, prior to the walk you can enjoy the beautiful view here. On the other side you will see the Peperhuisje (1625). You will walk past the Town Hall (1688) around the Zuiderkerk (1533) to De Waag (1559). Continue your walk along the Westerstraat. Continue your route past the Oude Weeshuis (1551) and encounter the beautiful Wester- or Gomaruskerk (1540). The extended route to the Koepoort is worthwhile, this has been the western entrance gate for centuries. Next, you will walk a bit on the Over de Vest. Enjoy the Snouck van Loosen Park. On the Dike you will pass Vivaldi for a nice ice cream. Continue your walk past the Drommedaris (1540), the southern gateway to the old part of Enkhuizen, back to the harbors. You will end the walk again at the Compagnieshaven.
