City walk Enkhuizen (see red line center map) 5.8 km

You start at the Compagnieshaven, before the walk you can enjoy the beautiful view. On the other side you see the Peperhuisje (1625). You walk past the Town Hall (1688) around the Zuiderkerk (1533) to De Waag (1559). You continue your walk on the Westerstraat. Continue your route past the Oude Weeshuis (1551) and encounter the beautiful Wester or Gomarus Church (1540). The extended route to the Koepoort is worthwhile, this has been the western gateway for centuries. Then you walk a bit over the Over de Vest. Enjoy the Snouck van Loosen Park. On the Dijk you pass Vivaldi for a nice ice cream. Continue your walk along the Drommedaris (1540), the southern entrance gate of the old part of Enkhuizen, back to the ports. You end the walk again at the Compagnieshaven.
