City walk Den Helder

A varied walk through Den Helder and dunes

A circular walk through Den Helder along the most beautiful points. You will pass 'De Lange Jaap', the lighthouse of cast iron from 1878 and 55 meters high. You will walk along the seaway over the dike that protects Den Helder from the sea. You will pass Naval Fort Erfprins via the 'Schapendijkje'. You come back to the dike to walk past the ferry to Texel in the outer harbor. Past the former State Shipyard, where you will also find the Marine Museum, and walk back through the town.
