City walk Den Helder

A round walk through Den Helder along the most beautiful points. You will pass the 'De Lange Jaap', the cast iron lighthouse from 1878 and 55 meters high. You walk along the sea road over the dike that protects Den Helder from the sea water. You will pass through the 'Schapendijkje' past Fort Erfprins van de Marine. You come to the dike again to walk along the ferry to Texel along the outer harbor. Along the former government wharf, where you will also find the Marine Museum, you walk back through the city.
