In this originally known fishing village we have mapped out a route for you through the dunes of South Holland. You start in Katwijk at Andreas Plein where you can park your car. Take a short walk through the center. Visit the rich history in the Katwijks Museum You cycle from Katwijk to Rijnsburg. Cross the ferry to Valkenburg. You cycle through Wassenaar, to the dunes. On the way you can visit Corpus. The attraction of the human body. Your bike through the dunes back to Katwijk

You start the route at Sportlaan in Katwijk. You can also park your car here. From here you can cycle straight onto the boulevard. Half way you can visit the Katwijks Lighthouse "De Vuurbaak". Continue on and take a look at the Boezemgemaal. From there you cycle in the direction of Leiden with its varied environment, every time it is a surprise after every turn. You cycle through industrial terrain, along streets and grasslands and you cycle into the city along the harbor of Leiden. Continue back to Katwijk aan Zee. A tour that is definitely worth it.
